English useful expressions

I am going to leave here some useful English expressions :) Enjoy!

I'll get back to you (on that).
I will report back later with my decision. (More likely said by a boss to an employee than vice versa.)
Bob: I have a question about the Wilson project. Mary: I have to go to a meeting now. I’ll get back to you on that. Bob: It’s sort of urgent. Mary: It can wait.

Faustian bargain
An agreement, bargain, or deal in which a person sacrifices or abandons his or her moral, ethical, or spiritual values in favor of wealth, power, or other benefits. A reference to the legend of Faust, who sold his soul to the devil for unlimited knowledge and power.
She struck a Faustian bargain with the competitors, selling her own company's secrets for shares in each of their companies.

wouldn't harm/hurt a fly
if you say that someone wouldn't hurt a fly, you mean that they are a gentle person and that they would not do anything to injure or upset anyone.
Damian just isn't the violent type. He wouldn't hurt a fly.

all systems go
Everything is ready for proceeding. Originating in the late 1960s with reference to launching space missiles and vehicles, this expression has been transferred to general use.
They've rented a hall and lined up the speakers, so it's all systems go for the rally.

Tomorrow's another day.
something that you say in order to encourage someone by showing them that there will be another opportunity to do something at a later time
We've not made much progress today, but don't worry, tomorrow's another day.

close enough for government work
sufficiently close; done just well enough. (Alludes to the notion that work for the government is not done with care or pride.)
I didn't do the best job of mending your shirt, but it's close enough for government work.

Faberlic cosmetic in Prague

Long time ago I had a parfume from a russian cosmetic company Faberlic. This company is not popular worldwide, so I am very doubt you know them.

Parfume called "Donna felice" had very cute form, cute orange bottle.
It was 10 years ago. My life was bizarre itself back then, I had lots of new things going on in my life, started living on my own, new school, friends, parties, places. I don't remember actually where did I get the parfume from, no. But I was totally in love with it.

Then my parfume  had finished, I forgot the name of it, then I moved everything was forgotten.

Sometimes I wanted to buy it again, but didn't have time.

And then! After 10 years! I found out how to order Faberlic cosmetics in Prague. And I ordered the parfum! Oh yeah, I was so happy as never before holding it in my hands. The bottle still has the same bizarre shape. Sweet and tasty. After pouring half bottle on me, I am sitting happy and thinking how these 10 years had changed me.

The parfum takes me back to these young years, so far and sweet and it's a pleasure.

Antigua and Barbuda

Where do people want to spend their summer holidays? I guess Turkey, Egypt, Spain of course. So very typical and popular . I want, I dream to go to Antigua and barbuda istead.
It's not popular holiday destination at all, maybe that is why I want to go there. Have you heard something about Antigua and Barbuda? :)

Antigua (pronounced An-tee'ga) and Barbuda are located in the middle of the Leeward Islands in the Eastern Caribbean, roughly 17 degrees north of the equator. To the south are the islands of Montserrat and Guadaloupe, and to the north and west are Nevis, St. Kitts, St. Barts, and St. Martin.
Temperatures generally range from the mid-seventies in the winter to the mid-eighties in the summer. Annual rainfall averages only 45 inches, making it the sunniest of the Eastern Caribbean Islands, and the northeast trade winds are nearly constant, flagging only in September. Low humidity year-round.

Tickets are not so expensive, so for the future I can consider going there.

Here are some pics made by my friend, who had fillfulled my dream before me .
