Hot in Malta

Malta is a very small island, and its population is 423 282. It's very hot even in November, you can swim and take a sunbath and wear summer short dresses. I came to Malta few years ago for studying, because my boyfriend wanted to go there, as he was in love with this place.
In October in Prague was very cold and even snowing, so I came to Malta with my coat and boots, and was surprised to see palm trees and guys in shorts! Beached were full of people even in October! I changed my warm coat to tiny summer dress and went to discover the island.

To be honest, I have never been to Turkey/Egypt/Tunisia etc. so for me it was very new. All was new.
Malta is a party place, in place called Paceville, there are plenty of clubs, bars, pubs that all situated in the same street. Lucky me, I had a flat not far from this place so every night we heard drunk people singing, fighting and crying.
In the evening all girls, who come to Paceville, wear extremely high heels and short dresses, then they get drunk there, and have a nice party.

Malta is a popular destination for young people for studying English there. To be honest, I don't think that it's a good idea if you really want to learn it real. The majority of youngsters go there to party!
But the place is beautiful, yes.
And although I was suffering from weather and climate change I was impressed by this small and beautiful island.

 Everybody loves cats in Malta! Cats are everywhere - big, fat and loved :) For cat lovers like me this is a perfect place!

In addition, the hotels in Malta are very cheap and conditions are fine. Just watch these marvellous pictures, made in Malta!

Friendship

Being married/ having a boyfriend is hard to keep the same lifestyle as you had before. Even if I really liked it, now the door is closed, you can’t get drunk and dance alone all night long, coming home drunk, flirting with cute guys, dating 2 and 3 of them at once. But what to do if your best friend is still single and asks you to go out with her, and for her it’s certainly not enough to stay an hour, drinking tea in a teahouse. She gets angry if you refuse spending time with her, claiming that you are «a boring woman» that I have no time for her which is not true. Honestly, I have always hated girls that devote all their free time to their boyfriends, stop answering calls, going out. In the past I had a friend that did exactly the same. We had really been close, so I was surprised when she stopped answering my calls. I got very frustrated and sad. And I hated it. Having a boyfriend before, I tried to take my single friend with me, to introduce her to some nice boy and to go out all together. But seems I failed.

My single friend keeps on inviting me to single parties, drunk events, and gets really angry hearing my refuse. Last Friday night we went out for a drink and 2 hours later I wanted to go home. «what about me? — she said — where am I gonna go?» I suggested her going to a pub where there were our common friends, but she refused and got angry.

How to deal with a sutuation like that? The point is that I still love parties, getting drunk of course, but my job ( I work for a music radio ) makes me tired now. I can’t go out that often, I am sick of parties now, I have spring lack of vitamins, I feel sleepy, and my boyfriend has nothing to do with that. And it is more then clear that my single friend wants to have great fun but that is not fun for me. How to deal with such a friend ?

Cat cafe in Prague

Great new trend! Cat cafee!

 Once my colleague took me there for lunch. Cat caffe is situated close to our office. This is very cosy and nice place where you can drink a coffee and play with cats :) They have also wonerful raw food menu for lunch - healthy soup, vegetable pie and sweets. They are vegetarians of course :) Well, it's obvious with these always hungry-foolish cats around your plate :) Cats are very nice there, they love to cuddle, and happy to receive your attention. And yes, they all are taken from shelter :) We are cat lovers are very happy to stay there :) But also this place is very suitable for parents with small kids that can't have a cat at home :) 

So far my favourite place now. The reason is that I prefer cats more then dogs, having my cat at home I really enjoy their company :)

And of course, they cook delicious :)

The city I live in.

Let me first show you the city where I live in ( hm, perhaps I should start from something, uh? :)
I live in Prague, Czech Republic. Here I consider as my homeland in fact I wasn't born here. But this is another story.
I love Prague. Now it is very international city. There are lots of foreingers!
 City is very slow, romantic and calm. Prague is the heart of central Europe.
